Two Quotes To Think About

Earlier I had something personally disappointing occur. I rather got pissed at myself for having maybe screwed it up badly, or didn’t do enough or more to make it happen.

Let’s just say it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, one of those things you shouldn’t miss and would get only one shot at it. I tried…and failed.

When I got home, I went online to check some blogs I frequent. One of them gave me two quotes that really…really…really gave me some things to think about.

Here they are:

“All you can do is all you can do, but all you can do is enough.”

“Disappointment only happens when what you want is not in line with your greater good.”

Those two struck a chord with me.

Eventually I searched online and found the first saying is by someone named Art or A.L. Williams. I can’t seem to find the source of the 2nd one, but that’s fine.

I’m sure I could’ve done more earlier. But…I guess I did enough, and that’s just about all I can do.

Personally, I feel my greater good is to help others. I just don’t know exactly how…yet.

At any rate, this is temporary. And I just need to let it flow out of my system.

Then…onward and upward!
